Gadsden Pediatric Clinic implemented their Reach Out and Read-Alabama program in 2017 and prescribes over 2,100 books each year.  Thanks to other great community partners like Alabama 200, the state’s bicentennial committee and Vulcan Materials Company, the practice participated in the Rx for Summer Reading.  Shane Ellis, Mayor Sherman Guyton’s assistant, read the book during their event, as well as Jessica Brown with Success by 6.
