“We are proud of the support from Coach Saban and his wife, Ms. Terry, to build a foundation of success in the children and families that we serve,” said Polly McClure, statewide coordinator.

This is the seventh year that the program has been awarded support.

Community Foundation of South Alabama partners with Reach Out and Read-Alabama in Mobile and Baldwin counties

Reach Out and Read-Alabama is proud to partner with the Community Foundation of South Alabama with our Early Math/Books Count Initiative in Southwest Alabama.  Focusing on supporting the children and families in the underserved and rural communities in Mobile and Baldwin County, the award will allow us to train providers, educate parents  and prescribe books at 500 key well child visits that will help close the opportunity gap that hinders children’s ability to reach their full potential and threatens the communities’ future prosperity.
